In November of 2015 I published my first children’s book, The Talented Toad. It’s a picture book based on an African American folk tale. The book is aimed at children of all ages to inspire and promote confidence and self worth. Both, my illustrator and I work full time jobs, and so neither of us has much time for anything else. I was grateful for a surprise book party thrown by good friends in Palm Springs over the Christmas holidays. They bought books and sent emails to family and friends.
